The Tale of Neil Rogers, Rick Shaw and South Florida Radio

 From WQAM in the 60's to WSHE's album rock in the 70's to the new sounds of Country music in the 80's and the advent of great talk radio which would dominate South Florida radio in the 90's, we're taking a TALK down memory lane and reminiscing about the evolution of radio in South Florida over the decades, from its vibrant music scenes to the rise of radio personalities like Rick Shaw and Neil Rogers.

Each era brought its own unique flavor to the airwaves, reflecting the changing tastes and cultural shifts of the times.

And BTW what is the story behind Bill Monty on tour with KISS?

SHOW CORRECTION: While Barry Rose is great at hosting FB pages, the Neil Rogers podcast is not one of his. That's actually Michael Allen Smith.  Go listen to the old tapes on the Neil Rogers Show podcast. They were my inspiratio   for this episode. I listen all the time.
