1. When is the “Right” Time to Ask for Help/Assistance? A Senior’s Perspective Kim Hegwood 12:32

I think they are afraid of losing their independence. You know, seniors are afraid that if they ask for help, their loved ones or their care partners
or people that they put in control of their life are just going to pack up their belongings and send them to a care facility. And so they’re scared, they
don’t want to be a burden. ~ Candace Green

Here is what Kim and Candace will be discussing today.

1. Why do seniors “put off” getting help?

2. How can bringing in help keep a senior more independent?

3. Is it common for a spouse to “cover” for their loved one with dementia?

4. What home care solutions can help a couple in this situation?

5. When the worry is money how can home care be the solution?
