The books in this series are called The Path You Choose, and they are Choose Your Own Adventure type books where the reader is asked to make choices throughout the book. The reader will not be reading the book straight through, from front to back. You will turn to the page corresponding with the Path You Choose.
These books are intended for readers from the 5th through 8th grade and the reader, as the main character will learn that there are consequences to the choices we make in life. After reading one story all the way through, the reader will be able to go back and make a different choice and see what happens as the result of that choice. There are thirteen possible endings in Off Target and On the Rocks. What choice will you make? Jill Ammon Vanderwood is the 2008 Writer of the Year for the League of Utah Writers. She is the author of ten books for children and young adults and one adult book.
