The Bubbles Effect: Marketing + Mindset Monday 3/2

  1. The Bubbles Effect: Marketing + Mindset Monday 3/2 Nicole Bernard 7:56

In this quick Monday episode of The Bubbles Effect Podcast, I’m sharing a little marketing update and one mindset reminder that stuck with me this week.

On the marketing side, there’s been a lot of chatter in the AI world over the past few days. Apparently more than a million users left ChatGPT over the weekend after news that OpenAI will allow the U.S. Department of Defense to deploy its AI models within classified networks. That sparked a pretty big reaction online, with a lot of people exploring other tools like Claude and a few others.

Since I talk about AI quite a bit, and even built my custom GPT, Stella, inside ChatGPT, I think it’s interesting to watch how quickly things can shift in the tech world. I share a little about the differences I’ve noticed between ChatGPT and Claude, especially when it comes to things like messaging, content ideas, and brand voice.

Then on the mindset side, I share something that really stuck with me during my run this morning while listening to the classic book As a Man Thinketh by James Allen. It’s a really short read from 1903, but the message is timeless. ✨

One line in particular stood out to me: “The world is your kaleidoscope.”

It’s a reminder that while the world can feel pretty chaotic sometimes, the perspective we choose to take still matters. Our thoughts shape our Emotions, our habits, and ultimately the direction of our lives.

So this episode is just a quick check-in to start the week with some marketing news, a little mindset, and a reminder that even small perspective shifts can make a big difference.

Thanks for listening, and I hope you have a great week!

Nicole Bernard Podcast Host & Marketing Strategist

I started my first entrepreneurial journey in 2007 with my husband. We decided to start an organic farm & micro-brewery in the Cascade Mountains of the Pacific Northwest.

During the seven years that we ran Acadian Farms & Brewery, I was in charge of all things marketing- everything from events, to social media to website design.

Learning + doing everything on my own, I created an SEO-friendly website that reached #1 on Google and utilized the power of social media and influencer outreach to get featured in prominent publications like The Oregonian, Portland Monthly and The Seattle Times, as well as popular craft beer blogs.

AND MY MISSION!
After closing our doors due to creating too much traffic (marketing works 😉), I wanted to take what I learned from the experience and help other small businesses. So I spent the next few years working at digital marketing agencies and expanded my marketing chops by learning the systems, tools and strategies implemented by agencies to achieve massive growth.

And that's what I'm sharing with you- knowledge from both sides! I truly wish that I had a step-by-step strategy to follow when we were growing our business, but there wasn't one.

When I'm not working, you can find me camping with my two kids, husband and rescue dog, running or drinking a glass of wine!
