Characteristics of Alexander

Alexander had a violent temperament and was very harsh and rash.  He was unpredictable to his enemies.  He would make foes as friends and execute them at times who failed to fall in line. He was a quick learner and perhaps learned the ropes from his tutor, Aristotle.  Aristotle was instrumental in imparting knowledge of science, medicine, and philosophy.

He was a visionary strategist and ensured effective supply chain management during battle. He led from the front and walked the talk by setting an example to his followers. He remembered the names of his soldiers and knew the knack of directing his energies, efforts, and forces.

He had higher levels of energy and enthusiasm.  He was ambitious, aggressive, articulate, and a genius in military strategy.  He was a ruthless leader as well.  Above all, he was noted for his bravery.

Alexander and Decision-Making

Once on his way, Alexander had a tough time passing through the notorious Gedrosian desert during the middle of the summer.  With an army of 30,000-foot soldiers with cavalry units in the rear, he suddenly found himself in a crisis as he needed help finding the correct route.  The soldiers were thirsty due to the scorching heat.  Alexander gave no sign of panic.  He remained cool, calm, composed, and collected.  He asked the local hired guides but was told they were unfamiliar with how to proceed.  With a few soldiers, Alexander moved in a different direction by his intuition and finally caught sight of the blue sea from a low rise in the dunes.  Subsequently, he ordered the rest of the army to move forward, and he saved his men from a potential disaster. Alexander was a good decision-maker who believed in his gut and intuition.

Facts About Alexander

  • Alexander used brute force to crush his rivals and used diplomacy to win over his rivals.
  • As he revealed on his deathbed when asked, Alexander did not believe in handing over his Legacy to blood heirs but to the strongest.
  • The death of Alexander was a mystery.  It was not clear whether his death was natural due to illness or he was poisoned.
  • Alexander demonstrated great observational powers. He craved for universal dominion.
  • Alexander was greatly influenced by his mother, Olympias, who conditioned his mindset as a great ruler.
  • At the age of 16, Alexander demonstrated his leadership skills by putting down the Thracian rebellion and subsequently naming it after him.
  • At age 20, he set foot on conquest with his 35,000 soldiers, including foot soldiers and cavalrymen.
  • Alexander ensured effective logistics and supply chain to his soldiers during battles.
  • He changed his plans continuously.  He was a military genius who was unpredictable by enemies.
  • He always walked the talk and fought against enemies along with his soldiers thus setting an example.  He led from the front and inspired his soldiers.
  • He maintained the cultural identity of all people, and he was culturally tolerant and competent. As a result, there was mutiny. However, Alexander put it down.
  • Once he defeated the kings, Alexander made alliances, and a strategic move followed everywhere. He defeated Porus, killing his two sons. It was the most brutal battle for Alexander, as he saw war elephants.
  • Alexander the Great created one of the largest empires in ancient history and is considered one of the most charismatic leaders in the world.
  • He was noted for his tactical ability with extraordinary willpower.
  • He had epilepsy. His head appeared to be gazing upward at an angle.
  • He was short but strong in physique.
  • Several military organizations adopt Alexander’s tactical exploits even today.
  • He was impulsive, short-tempered, rash, and rough. However, he was also a voracious reader and had a constant ability to learn.
  • He was good at memory and called people by names.
  • Although Alexander had a rough voice, he was a great speaker.  When a few soldiers attempted to mutiny, Alexander gave a famous speech that reminded the Macedonians of their fate without leaders like him and his father, King Philip.  It made the soldiers reconcile and fall in line with the mainstream.
  • Although Alexander was born to King Philip, he said he was born to the Greek God Zeus to enhance his public image, which worked well for him.

Elinor Stutz International Best-Selling Author

Elinor Stutz broke through barriers long before doing so was popular. Against all the odds, she defied the theme “women can’t sell” to become the top producer at every company she ever worked for, ignoring attempts to get her to quit.

Eleven years later, I lay motionless on a stretcher with an irreparably broken neck. Two visions appearing before me, and a brilliant gold light encasing my entire body, gave me a reason to believe I would recover. I wholeheartedly knew I was about to empower audiences far and wide. At the moment, I negotiated a full recovery with the promise to be of service. The surgeon and hospital staff anointed me with the title “The Walking Miracle.”

As the CEO of Smooth Sale, Stutz adapted the motto, “Believe, Become, Empower.” Believe in yourself; Become the person you envision; Empower your audience to do the same. Stutz is on the Social Media Committee for Inclusion Allies Coalition devoted to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
