For a better outcome, it is wise to review all notes concerning the person and the company and research the internet for new insights to fuel the conversation in your favor further. The research and additional questions that may arise will typically increase enthusiasm and boost confidence in knowing new specific questions to ask.

The first indicator prospects and clients observe for whether to conduct business is the sincerity plus enthusiasm in our voice, and the tipping point is the extra effort we go to reveal knowledge concerning their latest company updates and follow up with related questions. 

Even better is asking for clarification when we do not fully understand what is being said. The revelation of honesty often has one standing out from the crowded playing field in this regard and encourages the business we seek.

As business grows and new Technology enters the picture, it’s critical to recognize and become comfortable with the latest strategies to help communicate best and improve efficiencies. We all know that AI is entering every level of interaction, making it critical to adopt the more appropriate tools for oneself.

Equally important is to give a fleeting thought moment due attention. Often, these ideas come to us because of the customary actions necessary in our minds. We should not overlook how a unique topic may enhance our output.

Most representatives are too focused on making the actual sale, but ‘Telling-Selling’ rarely works well. It’s best to first focus on developing the relationship whereby trust builds. By not pushing the sale, people ask permission to purchase and will inquire how to finalize the process.

One big differentiator for successful salespeople is they view the sale not as ‘the close, the end,’ but as a new beginning. Once clients receive everything they were promised, the salesperson will check in to ensure 100% satisfaction. Should an issue arise, the next question is, ‘How do you see us fixing the issue?’ The next step is to coordinate the solution and agree on the date and time for completion.
