After serving two decades in the U.S. Army—much of it in combat zones—Donald didn’t fade into the background like so many veterans. He became a voice. A mentor. A media powerhouse.
He founded Barracks Media Inc., launched the nonprofit Veteran Voice Radio, and created Spirits and Stories, a podcast that dives into the spiritual, emotional, and transformative journeys of combat veterans, survivors, and truth-tellers.
He is now one of the most unique and impactful voices in the veteran podcast space.

Donald’s 20-year U.S. Army career included over 68 months deployed in some of the harshest operational environments on earth:
Bosnia – peacekeeping and reconstruction
Iraq – logistical support and convoy operations in hostile zones
Afghanistan – frontline coordination under fire
Through it all, Donald experienced not just the strategic toll of war, but the emotional and spiritual devastation that follows. He lost friends. He came home with scars that no doctor could diagnose. And like so many others, he was left to fight a war within after the war ended.
His decorated service includes commendations for leadership, meritorious achievement, and honorable conduct under extreme duress. He speaks from a place of truth, trust, and transformation—and he’s ready to share that with your audience.
