The Bubbles Effect: Wednesday Power Hour with Tim Delaney

  1. The Bubbles Effect: Wednesday Power Hour with Tim Delaney Nicole Bernard 29:39

What if the fastest path to financial freedom isn’t launching something new… but buying something that already works? 🤔

In this week’s Power Hour, I’m joined by Tim Delaney, entrepreneur, Real Estate investor, and host of Business Buying for Financial Independence, to talk about the real power behind business acquisition.

More than a decade ago, Tim bought a small local business with almost no experience and very little cash down. That one move changed everything. 🍷

And here’s what we unpack in this short, high-impact conversation:

⚡ Why “I don’t have enough Money” is usually a myth
⚡ How SBA loans and seller financing actually make deals possible
⚡ The massive opportunity created by retiring business owners
⚡ Why you should never go in and overhaul a successful business on Day One
⚡ How Tim used early YouTube videos inspired by Gary Vaynerchuk to grow his wine & liquor store
⚡ And why engaging on social media might matter more than constantly posting

We also talk brick-and-mortar vs. franchises, evergreen YouTube strategy, and the confidence hurdle that keeps most people from ever making the leap.

If you’ve ever thought about:

  • Owning a business

  • Creating financial independence

  • Or stepping into something already profitable instead of building from zero

This Power Hour will expand what feels possible.

Because sometimes the boldest move isn’t starting from scratch.

It’s stepping into momentum. 💥

Nicole Bernard Podcast Host & Marketing Strategist

I started my first entrepreneurial journey in 2007 with my husband. We decided to start an organic farm & micro-brewery in the Cascade Mountains of the Pacific Northwest.

During the seven years that we ran Acadian Farms & Brewery, I was in charge of all things marketing- everything from events, to social media to website design.

Learning + doing everything on my own, I created an SEO-friendly website that reached #1 on Google and utilized the power of social media and influencer outreach to get featured in prominent publications like The Oregonian, Portland Monthly and The Seattle Times, as well as popular craft beer blogs.

AND MY MISSION!
After closing our doors due to creating too much traffic (marketing works 😉), I wanted to take what I learned from the experience and help other small businesses. So I spent the next few years working at digital marketing agencies and expanded my marketing chops by learning the systems, tools and strategies implemented by agencies to achieve massive growth.

And that's what I'm sharing with you- knowledge from both sides! I truly wish that I had a step-by-step strategy to follow when we were growing our business, but there wasn't one.

When I'm not working, you can find me camping with my two kids, husband and rescue dog, running or drinking a glass of wine!
