Pause Practices- November Lookback
I recognize that everyone needs
What I Did to Pause:
Birthday celebrating…I’m in my yolo years. Salt Cave in Newtown or in the Lehigh Valley which were very different and equally chill.
Reading 101 essasy that will change the way you think & in good energy helping me realize why we need to rething all things western medicine and regroup on food.
I loved staying at the River in New Hope to scope out a retreat space. The imporance of time alone out of my house is about doing what I want and prioritizing literally everything.
Why do Mom brains store where everything is—salad dressing behind the leftover chicken, socks in a side drawer, etc?
Pausing with Boundaries:
A friendship boundary: I have paused longer than ever in real life social situations. I allow those who have hurt me to talk first. I’m no longer leading them. This new dynamic is giving me positive results. (I’m not carrying their bizarre behavior and I’m not including them where they aren’t welcome).
My health: My Yoga practice is a variation of fast sweaty yoga with Stone Harbor Yoga and slow Embodied flows with MB laRue. What do you love?
What’s hard isn’t for me: I’m releasing what feels like a mountain to climb. I only do what is easy. That means shifting my retreat in 2025 to a 1 day action oriented event- email me if you are interested.
Wellness Research I’m Doing:
Research women in wealth in 2030 when the wealth dynamic shifts due to boomer men passing away.
Dr Gina Harper Harrison and I lead an adrenal fatigue. I learned that cortisol loves sugar but hates the fall out of energy. Persistent energy is better than a sugar spike.
