#Positivepalestinian — What It’s Like To Be A “High-Profile” Palestinian Small Business Owner Right… &Raquo;

#PositivePalestinian — What it’s like to be a “high-profile” Palestinian small business owner right now This is not really how you should wear a keffiyeh I don’t consider myself to be a high-profile Palestinian (I mean I am no Bella Hadid despite what my mum tells me about my good looks) but it has become abundantly clear that for many of my connections, I am one of the most prominent real-life Palestinians that they have ever met — that’s clearly what happens when you post so much on social media. Take this morning for example; I woke up to a text from a friend who is... Continue Reading

My desire to raise the experience, equality and inclusion for every member of a team, for every employee of a business, for every customer of a company has directly led to the foundation of my company Shiageto Consulting. The way we do this at Shiageto is by providing expert... Continue Reading

Why Being Palestinian Has Greatly Influenced My Life Choices And The Business That I Started &Raquo;

Mugs for every occasion In some ways it seems inevitable that my two sisters ended up in the careers that they did. One is a doctor and the other a human rights lawyer and this is no coincidence considering our heritage. What is our heritage? Our parents are Palestinian immigrants to the UK, moving here in the late 1960s displaced by the 1967 war. Finding themselves studying outside of the West Bank and Gaza when the war broke out it meant that, after Israel won the war and occupied both areas, they were not able to return there to live. Instead they moved to the UK so my dad could undertake... Continue Reading
