Thirsty Curses Return with New Album: Music is a Scam

Back in 2024, Thirsty Curses made their first appearance on the Someone You Should Know Podcast, bringing their unique blend of rock, punk, and indie energy to the show. Now, they’re back—with new music and a new lineup.

Joining me once again is Wilson Getchell, the band’s frontman, along with bassist Clay Herring and their new drummer, Nic Louisos. Thirsty Curses just released their latest album, Music is a Scam, a title as bold as their sound. We’ll talk about the inspiration behind the record, the band’s evolution, and what’s next for this Raleigh-based crew. Thirsty Curses are Someone You Should Know
