Step #4 to Build Persistent Behavior and Increase Your Success

  1. Step #4 to Build Persistent Behavior and Increase Your Success Anne Bachrach 2:07

Today we are talking about step #4 of the 4 steps to build persistent behavior, which is to, Recognize That the Results of Persistence Can Be Long Term in Coming.

Finally, you need to remember that the results of your persistence might not be evident for a while, especially if you are in the early stages of a project or a new expansion. You need to give things some time to work. For example, being discouraged because a client did not buy your product or service is not a reason to quit. There is a very good chance that, if you are doing everything right, staying in the game, and continuing to be there for your client, you will eventually make a sale… though the sale may not come for another month, or two, or even six. Just keep contacting the client, keep being friendly, and keep being the type of person that any client would WANT to do business with. In the end, your persistence will pay off. If you keep it up and apply this principle to all of your clients and projects, you will definitely see the results of your work and effort… and they WILL pay off.

What Can You Do?

Over the past 4 days, we have been discussing 4 steps to help you build persistent behavior. Every day, remind yourself that persistence is an absolute necessity. Without it, any business will flounder and fail. If you find yourself lacking persistence, then try taking each of these steps, one at a time. Taking a proactive approach to solving this problem is by far the best way to deal with it, and these 4 steps are a perfect way to get started!
