  1. Good Reason #1 for Business Owners to Take Time Off Anne Bachrach 2:21

Today we are talking about 1 good reason for Business Owners to take time off, which is To Recharge Your Creative Batteries.

It is important to get some rest so that you can be at your creative peak when you are on the job. It is impossible to be constantly creative, especially if you don’t take breaks! If you want to continue to think of new, original ideas, than it is going to be imperative for you to find some time to get away and rejuvenate yourself. For creative people, it is usually a good idea to take at least one whole day off every week. It is healthy for all of us to take at least one out of seven days off, if you aren’t already doing this now.

If you are a very creative person, then you will most likely feel beneficial effects even after one day of rest. In fact, if you take longer than that to rejuvenate, you might find yourself chomping at the bit to get back to it, but remember that you NEED to give yourself time. If you are on vacation, try to keep yourself from thinking about work. Instead, lounge beside the pool, get some Exercise, or play with your children. Try to focus on things that have nothing to do with business until you get back. Make the most of your time off, and don’t be in a hurry to end your relaxation time too soon.

Tune in tomorrow for good reason #2 why business owners need to take time off.
