Curious Chris – Why No Flamingos? is a delightful children’s book that follows the adventures of an inquisitive young boy named Chris. Chris is bursting with curiosity, constantly asking his parents questions like, "Why is the sky blue?" or "Why can’t it rain cotton candy?"

But when Chris and his parents visit the local animal shelter, they discover no flamingos. Disappointed, Chris reluctantly explores the shelter, meeting cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes.
Just as he’s about to give up, he spots a sandy-colored Labrador named Angel. Angel is a dog whose droopy eyes and gentle demeanor win Chris over.
Though Angel isn’t a flamingo, he quickly becomes Chris’s new best friend, proving that sometimes the perfect pet isn’t the one you expect.
This heartwarming story is filled with humor, imagination, and a touch of flamingo fun. Along the way, readers learn about flamingos, practice a flamingo dance, and even discover how to say "flamingo" in Spanish and sign it in ASL.
