  1. Essential Steps for a Podcast Rebrand Journey | Ep 56 Virginia Elder 23:55

As you develop personally and your business matures, you will inevitably come to need a rebrand of your online presence. None of us are the same as we were a few years ago – our interests have broadened, our expertise has deepened, and we’ve matured toward the version of ourselves we WANT to be, which also means the imagery and language we used around our business years ago doesn’t fit today’s version of us.

Evolving Your Brand for Professional Success

(03:32) Benefits of Strategic Rebranding

(09:25) Phased Rebranding Strategy

(14:44) Updating Branding Across Platforms

(19:27) Creating a Clear Brand Identity

Rebranding your online presence can be intimidating, simply because there are so many social platforms, plus your website, YouTube, and, of course, the podcast platforms.

5 steps to a successful podcast rebrand:

  1. Clarify Your Focus
  2. Update your Podcast Name & Cover Art
  3. Update Episode Titles & Descriptions
  4. Announce your Rebrand
  5. Update Everywhere – Socials, Website, and Listings

This podcast is being rebranded from Reaching Abundance and the broader concept that all of us business owners are working toward our own definition of abundance to the much more specific, Podcasting for Financial Professionals. The new name of the show requires no explanation – the Clarity is instant for anyone who listens, guests, or might be searching for guidance in the podcast space.

This is the level of clarity we all need, and I hope that by inviting you behind the scenes of my podcast rebrand, you’re encouraged as to what’s possible, relieved that you can execute a rebrand in phases, and excited to move forward with today’s version of you since you’re probably going to have to change a few things down the road anyway.

Virginia Elder Founder | Podcast Editor & Manager

With a robust foundation of 15+ years in project management, client service, and strategic organization, I make things happen. I shine brightest in the behind-the-scenes support role, aiding entrepreneurs in becoming visible through content marketing. Podcasting is just one avenue; my expertise lies in helping you expand your reach, attract leads, and boost revenue, all while you focus on what you do best.

My journey into podcast editing began with a simple 'yes' to a friend's podcast project in 2019. This led to a whirlwind of copywriting and audio editing endeavors, eventually liberating me from my 9-5 job and empowering me to forge my own business path. Moreover, it enabled me to live my dream of walking my kids to and from school daily.

When you entrust your raw audio and video recordings, web copy dreams, weekly newsletter musings, and blog post aspirations to me, you're gifting yourself the freedom to concentrate on serving your clients, nurturing leads, and envisioning your business's next big leap. I handle the content creation, editing, and publishing process, allowing you to breathe easy and concentrate on your passion.
