The Bubbles Effect: Wednesday Power Hour with Christina Bulkilvish

  1. The Bubbles Effect: Wednesday Power Hour with Christina Bulkilvish Nicole Bernard 16:59

In today’s episode of The Bubbles Effect, I’m joined by Christina Bulkilvish for an honest, grounded conversation about rebuilding self-trust, identity, and confidence after major life shifts. ✨

Christina shares her powerful personal journey, from surviving a domestic violence relationship to a career upheaval, and a life-altering concussion, to ultimately choosing herself, quitting her job, and stepping into a life of solo Travel and purpose. We talk about how those experiences shaped her work helping ambitious people stop overthinking, break limiting patterns, and start creating lives they’re genuinely excited to wake up to.

We dive into what solo travel teaches you about resilience and self-trust, how to rebuild your identity after heartbreak or a big transition, and why keeping small promises to yourself is one of the most powerful ways to move forward, in life and in business. ❤️

Christina also shares practical, actionable ways to get out of your own way, overcome analysis paralysis, and reconnect with what actually feels aligned, rather than what you think you should be doing.

This is a quick, thoughtful and encouraging conversation about choosing yourself, taking small steps, and remembering that Growth doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.

✨ Topics we cover:

  • Rebuilding after major life shifts

  • Solo travel and resilience

  • Self-trust, confidence, and identity

  • Overcoming overthinking and analysis paralysis

  • Taking aligned action in life and business

I loved this conversation and I think you will too!

Nicole Bernard Podcast Host & Marketing Strategist

I started my first entrepreneurial journey in 2007 with my husband. We decided to start an organic farm & micro-brewery in the Cascade Mountains of the Pacific Northwest.

During the seven years that we ran Acadian Farms & Brewery, I was in charge of all things marketing- everything from events, to social media to website design.

Learning + doing everything on my own, I created an SEO-friendly website that reached #1 on Google and utilized the power of social media and influencer outreach to get featured in prominent publications like The Oregonian, Portland Monthly and The Seattle Times, as well as popular craft beer blogs.

AND MY MISSION!
After closing our doors due to creating too much traffic (marketing works 😉), I wanted to take what I learned from the experience and help other small businesses. So I spent the next few years working at digital marketing agencies and expanded my marketing chops by learning the systems, tools and strategies implemented by agencies to achieve massive growth.

And that's what I'm sharing with you- knowledge from both sides! I truly wish that I had a step-by-step strategy to follow when we were growing our business, but there wasn't one.

When I'm not working, you can find me camping with my two kids, husband and rescue dog, running or drinking a glass of wine!
