The Bubbles Effect: Marketing + Mindset Monday

  1. The Bubbles Effect: Marketing + Mindset Monday Nicole Bernard 6:29

It’s Monday, February 2nd, and in this short Marketing + Mindset episode of The Bubbles Effect, I’m sharing the most-clicked link from last week’s newsletter, plus a mindset thought that’s been sitting with me in a big way!

On the marketing side, I’m diving into a brand-new social platform called Moltbook, a social network built entirely for AI agents. Humans aren’t allowed to participate (we can only observe), and it’s already sparked a lot of curiosity about how AI bots interact, collaborate, and create on their own. It’s not traditional social media, but it’s fascinating to watch where this could lead. 🤖

Then we shift into mindset.

I share a quote that stopped me mid-scroll: “You have to be aggressive about living the life you want.”

It sparked some honest reflection around time, goals, visibility, and the ways we sometimes hide behind being “busy” instead of being intentional. I open up about what’s been holding me back, especially when it comes to being visible, and why I know that has to change if I want the life I’m working toward.

I’ll leave you with one simple question to think about this week:
Are you aggressively going after the life you want to live and if not, why?

As always, this is a quick episode meant to get you thinking, grounded, and moving forward as you start your week. Thanks for listening, and I’ll be back with great conversations later this week. 🥂

Nicole Bernard Podcast Host & Marketing Strategist

I started my first entrepreneurial journey in 2007 with my husband. We decided to start an organic farm & micro-brewery in the Cascade Mountains of the Pacific Northwest.

During the seven years that we ran Acadian Farms & Brewery, I was in charge of all things marketing- everything from events, to social media to website design.

Learning + doing everything on my own, I created an SEO-friendly website that reached #1 on Google and utilized the power of social media and influencer outreach to get featured in prominent publications like The Oregonian, Portland Monthly and The Seattle Times, as well as popular craft beer blogs.

AND MY MISSION!
After closing our doors due to creating too much traffic (marketing works 😉), I wanted to take what I learned from the experience and help other small businesses. So I spent the next few years working at digital marketing agencies and expanded my marketing chops by learning the systems, tools and strategies implemented by agencies to achieve massive growth.

And that's what I'm sharing with you- knowledge from both sides! I truly wish that I had a step-by-step strategy to follow when we were growing our business, but there wasn't one.

When I'm not working, you can find me camping with my two kids, husband and rescue dog, running or drinking a glass of wine!
