A Boomer'S Guide To Cleaning Out Your Parent'S EstateThis step-by-step guide is a companion book to Hall’s masterpiece, “The Boomer Burden- Dealing With Your Parents’ Lifetime Accumulation of Stuff.”

It’s a small book, six sections and 80 pages – but don’t let the size fool you.

This is the nuts and bolts of what you will need to actually wade into your parents home and get it cleaned out.

It is chock full of checklists, spreadsheets, worksheets and forms, as well as links to helpful online resources and caring advice for easing the transition.

If the task of executor falls to you, you’ll want to read “The Boomer Burden,” but you will need this companion guide, because, as Hall says, “This is going to be a difficult task. Going through your parents stuff will bring back memories and emotions will be high.”

What’s Inside:

  • For those of you who are smart enough to plan ahead, the book begins with a chapter on what to do if one or both parents are living and still in their home.
  • The next section is on steps you’ll need to take if one or both parents are living but in failing health.
  • Section three deals with the scenario in which mom or dad have died and the estate remains.
  • Finally, comes the critical section on the actual “down and dirty” steps related to cleaning out the house.

All sections are extremely useful and will save you a lot of time, stress and angst.

Hall’s passion for helping as many distressed families as possible to deal with the challenges of estate dissolution is evident in this highly recommended book.
