Be the Leader Who Stands Out for Encouraging Growth

Attract the Right Job or Clientele:

Be the Leader Who Stands Out for Encouraging Growth

Today, leadership is a popular topic, and as I read the articles and associated charts online, I became actively engaged. Why? The emphasis on ‘good leadership’ raises the question: Didn’t the people I reported to long ago have access to educational tools on similar topics? Were my ‘leaders’ lazy, ignorant, or so discriminatory that they didn’t care?

If any of the choices are true, that isn’t leadership in any form of imagination from my perspective. The recent online content has inspired me to believe in the power of personal leadership growth. It’s about becoming the leader who stands out for encouraging growth.

The following quote caught my attention on Twitter:
Henry Kissinger once described something as having the added advantage of being true!’

The quote was posted on X-Twitter by @CornellHockeyFan, better known as  David Spellman:

My Story

We each have ideas about success and how it may appear to us. Sadly, due to the lack of admirable leadership, many will quit their jobs rather than attempt to work with those in charge to iron out discrepancies. For the most part, management doesn’t care because it tends to be ego-driven. As an example, my efforts proved fruitless over and over until I finally ‘had enough’ to begin entrepreneurial activities once again.

A surprise message arrived today from a gentleman who admitted to facing some of the same issues in corporate. Admittedly, I thought all men were part of the ‘good ‘ole boy’ network, but he kindly corrected me. Another commonality is that we both turned to entrepreneurship and writing in varying forms to convey our thoughts to the right audience. My motto:

‘When roadblocks appear, seek out the better way!’

Challenges Never Cease

Whether we continue to attempt new job positions, new employers and management, or create a business of our choosing, the challenges continue. Worse, entrepreneurship is more difficult as one depends on one’s ability to produce income while being responsible for learning all the necessities to grow one’s business. For many, the clock begins ticking, and all the while, the alarm rings, causing much Stress with the idea of quitting.

Others, holding either a grudge or envying the courage of each of us in attempting to build a business, add to our concerns as they try their best to get us to quit. The nastiness we experience soon adds to the seemingly insurmountable list of challenges. To surpass the above, change to embrace a Positive Mindset and never let go.

Validation

Validation that we know what we are doing gradually arrives as our efforts prove worthy of our time. Momentarily and privately, embrace your success not to boast but to chart out a more specific plan for the near term, plus revise your ultimate vision for what you want to achieve and how you may contribute to your Legacy

Mindset Is the Game Changer

Long ago, a sales trainer taught me to gamify the scarier part of sales, such as cold-calling territories. The mental switch to gamifying and having fun in the field inspired many more people to open their ‘closed’ doors for me. The next game change was to switch from a negative to a positive mindset. The results were stunning and encouraged me to embrace the better model.

Becoming A Respected Leader

Last, entering the role of ‘leader,’ however it may appear to you, requires sharing knowledge to motivate and inspire others to do their best work. Loyalty and admiration are standout qualities you can earn by working toward the greater good on behalf of many.

Your Story: Be the Leader Who Stands Out for Encouraging Growth

There are many ways to step into a leadership position, but the best is to do so with a positive mindset, respect for others, and a desire to learn from one another. Embracing the mindset of servant leadership and sharing what you know earns much respect and future opportunities you never saw coming.

Many people doubt the method, but no one knows whether it will work unless they test the process for a while. Success is rarely overnight, but commitment to the process and ongoing learning will eventually get you into your desired position. The more one gives, the more one receives, like a boomerang effect.

In the corporate environment, being available to answer questions about your reports, sharing your best advice, and encouraging them to rise above their current position will encourage long-term Employment and unexpected advances, among many.

Whether an entrepreneur or leading corporate teams, being the leader who stands out for encouraging growth serves everyone best, including oneself.

In Conclusion: Be the Leader Who Stands Out for Encouraging Growth

Consider becoming a respected leader and a community service-oriented person by sharing the best of what you know while encouraging others to become the better version of themselves. We each have leadership qualities, but encouragement alongside inspiration is the differentiator for stepping up to achieving more than initially thought possible!

Elinor Stutz International Best-Selling Author

Elinor Stutz broke through barriers long before doing so was popular. Against all the odds, she defied the theme “women can’t sell” to become the top producer at every company she ever worked for, ignoring attempts to get her to quit.

Eleven years later, I lay motionless on a stretcher with an irreparably broken neck. Two visions appearing before me, and a brilliant gold light encasing my entire body, gave me a reason to believe I would recover. I wholeheartedly knew I was about to empower audiences far and wide. At the moment, I negotiated a full recovery with the promise to be of service. The surgeon and hospital staff anointed me with the title “The Walking Miracle.”

As the CEO of Smooth Sale, Stutz adapted the motto, “Believe, Become, Empower.” Believe in yourself; Become the person you envision; Empower your audience to do the same. Stutz is on the Social Media Committee for Inclusion Allies Coalition devoted to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
