Exploring Consciousness: How Imagination Shapes Reality & the Power of the Mind

What if the world you live in is not as solid as it seems, but more like a dream created by Consciousness? In this episode of the ANEW Insight Podcast, Dr. Supatra Tovar continues her thought-provoking conversation with Dr. Howard Eisenberg—a physician, psychologist, and consciousness researcher whose groundbreaking work explores the true nature of reality, perception, and imagination.

In Part 2, Dr. Eisenberg expands on his bold claim that our reality is a virtual construct, much like a dream. He contrasts the Western materialist worldview, which insists that reality is external and measurable, with indigenous Wisdom traditions, such as the Australian Aboriginal concept of “dreamtime,” where dreams are considered more real than waking life. Through this lens, he explains why imagination is not fantasy—it is the foundation of every invention, creation, and transformation humanity has ever achieved.

You’ll hear how his insights inspired his award-winning book Dream It to Do It, a guide to understanding consciousness and using imagination with intention. Dr. Eisenberg reveals why he bypassed traditional publishing timelines to self-fund and release the book in just five months—driven by urgent concerns about where humanity is headed if we fail to wake up to the deeper reality of consciousness.

This episode also dives into:

1. Why Western science dismisses subjective experience as “neural noise”
2. How dreams and lucid dreaming show us the creative power of the mind
3. Dr. Eisenberg’s personal experiences with precognition and visions of possible futures
4. Why focusing on fear feeds division, Anxiety, and Stress, while focusing on Love transforms both self and society
5. The epidemic of loneliness linked to smartphone addiction and disconnection
6. Practical techniques for reconnecting: soft eye contact, heart wisdom, non-attachment, and learning to simply “be” rather than constantly “do”

Dr. Eisenberg emphasizes that imagination, paired with disciplined intention, is the key to shaping reality. From the placebo effect in medicine to spiritual traditions teaching love over fear, he shows how our attention creates our world. His message is urgent yet hopeful: by choosing connection, compassion, and higher awareness, we can shift our collective future.

This conversation is not just theory—it’s a call to action. Dr. Eisenberg’s vision challenges us to remember that we are all connected, and that by living from love, empathy, and presence, we can reshape both our inner lives and the world around us.
