Grief has many disguises in adulthood. Endings we didn’t choose, identities we’ve outgrown, even dreams that didn’t unfold the way we imagined.
It lives in the body as heaviness, fog, or restlessness. In this short walking mediation, you get to give it movement to bring a momentary shift.
This Visualization is an invitation to let your Emotions move instead of manage them. Breathe through the ache, to allow tears or release, to let energy flow where it’s been frozen.
There’s no “right” way to grieve. There is only space to be with what is, and to trust that movement (physical or energetic) can help you meet yourself with compassion.
This practice is not meant to replace Therapy or professional support. It’s a gentle energetic reset — a bridge between body and emotion.
If you feel waves of sadness arise, allow them. That’s your energy loosening. Ground yourself by exhaling through the mouth, placing a hand on your heart, and staying hydrated afterward.
This can be done while doing chores, tasks or walking or running.
When a loss (recent or old) resurfaces unexpectedly
When you feel emotionally flat, heavy, or disconnected
During times of transition, when life feels both full and empty at once
