Unparalleled Bold Color Palettes For Spring

With spring right around the corner, I wanted to share 3 of my favorite color palettes for spring. The spring season is full of rebirth, so I feel like it is the perfect time to showcase that in our outfits.

Quote of the day: “If you’re always right, you’re not learning.
If you’re never failing, you’re not reaching.
The objective is to be right. The objective is to succeed.
But if you’re always winning, you’re undershooting your potential.” James Clear

I think the same idea of this quote applies to our outfits. If we always reach for the same outfits, color combinations, and styles of clothing, then we are undershooting our potential.

While clothes and style are not the most important factors on earth, you’d be surprised at how much they can boost our mood and get respect from others.

I love trying out different color combinations and have many articles about which colors go with other colors. Make sure to step out of your comfort zone and try a couple of them.

For my color palette of spring, I combined the colors in the top half of my outfit and kept the bottom half dark since the weather is still cool for most of us.

1-Bright Pink & Orange

I was inspired to revisit this as part of my color palettes for spring when my friend, Gail, talked about it in a comment.

To me pairing orange and bright pink together is a bold move. Both colors play off each other as vibrant and happy hues.

Insider tip: I used a scarf pendant as my “buckle” on the waist of this skirt. While I love using a bling pin at times, I didn’t want to put a hole in this faux leather skirt. This pendant is made by my friend and is only $15.

2-Wearing Lime Green & Light Blue -Color Palettes for Spring

Lime green has become a favorite color of mine in the last year. That’s one of the reasons I wanted to showcase how it can combine with a multitude of other colors in a previous article.

I remember seeing lime green paired with light blue many years ago, and the color combination seems perfect as part of this idea of color palettes for spring.

Insider tip: If you think lime green is too “out there”, remember it can appear as yellow especially paired with blues and greens.

3-Yellow & Green

Yellow is the color I used to proclaim as my favorite. It’s such a sunny and optimistic color. I still absolutely love it (but lime green might be pushing it out as my first favorite).

Since we are discussing color palettes for spring, pairing yellow with green seems obvious. Since Mother Nature is showing off with all kinds of blooms and colors, I paired two yellow tops with a green sweater.

Insider tip: Notice the “bling pin” in the v of my sweater? It’s a clip-on earring. Even if you have your ears pierced, these are great items to pick up while thrifting. I’ve shown other ways to wear them in the past.
