Marlon Madden was born on the sunny island of Jamaican and moved to Canada when he was 5 years old. He moved back to Jamaica to finish high-school and fell in love with music and arranging songs. He moved to NY and there he really expressed his love for being an entrepreneur and had his own taxi service at the age of 18.
Seeking to further develop himself he joined the United States Marine Corps November 12, 2002 and now is currently an Defence Fellow in Washington DC as a legislator in Congresswoman Katurs office.
He has been deployed 5 times to different countries in the Middle East such as Oman, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Bahrain and countless others.
One of the hardest assignments he has done in the Marine Corps has been recruiting duty.
He has a bachelors in business administration with a concentration in finance and a MBA with a concentration in management. He started a Limited Liability company in 2006. Some of the business ventures that he has accomplished outside of the Marine Corps consist of starting clothing store in Albany GA, also buying and selling homes. He has done upwards of 2 million dollars in real estate.
He’s married to Tamilla Madden and has four kids Jelani, Jahzara, Rashad, and Anaya.
Ricky is recognized as an Engineer of Impact. Born and raised in New York serving as an Elder and Worship leader of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Defying the odds, completed his Bachelor's and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has achieved his Professional Engineering License. During his tenure in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) related fields, Ricky recognized the increasing competitiveness in the industry and sought to become a source of inspiration and mentor to students and young professionals in STEM related fields.
Ricky provided business development and vendor management for Johns Hopkins University Facilities and Real Estate department. He managed an annual construction portfolio of 300 million dollars, ensuring disadvantaged minority and women owned businesses are provided with opportunities to bid on projects.
Currently he is the President & Co-Founder of Hit Doctor MD a Sport Training Production company 1M Rev & Sr IT Advisor for Hartman Executive Advisors where he operates as technology thought leader for the construction and real estate industry
Ricky is married of 16 years and has three sons.
Ricky and Marlon have been good friends (more like brothers) for the past 20 plus years and though life took them on different journeys as they pursued their career paths over the last few year, they now joined forces to be a positive change with in our society. On December 5th 2018 they started a podcast call The Success Journey Show, where they have determined to help as many people as possible achieve the success they desire.
