There’s a lot of history that took place in a pharmacy. 
OK, not “a lot” but enough to hopefully draw the listener into this wistful tale about a staple of any mid-century neighborhood, the corner drug store. 
Not just the Rx provider for families in the 50’s & 60’s. Its  aisles & shelves were a local connection with the greater world abroad.
