Hello to you listening in Labrador City, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada!
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Thoughts on Thursday and your host, Diane Wyzga.
Question: What does it mean to be gifted? Some of us come into this world with a natural talent in say, music, sports, or art that isn’t shared by most people. Those of us who aspire to that gifted state and work hard to achieve it might still lack that certain something that sets the truly gifted apart.
On the other hand, we are gifted. Think about the gifts of Education, community, faith, a roof over our heads, coaches and teachers who encouraged us to excel, the opportunity to work hard and be rewarded for our efforts, sheer grit and determination to succeed, integrity, family, and so much more. If we pause to examine our lives I imagine that we will be surprised by all the many ways in which we are gifted.
Question: How do you see yourself as gifted? How do your gifts show up in the world?
CTA: Don’t you dare give up showing up with your gifts because you’re too darn smart and important to stop now.
Be well, do good work, and keep in touch!
