Meet Bob DePasquale, a man put to the sternest test very early in life. His story commences when he was an invincible 18-year-old entering Hofstra University with dreams in his eyes. Little did he know that he was harboring a silent monster within—cancer. Yet, even as he was grappling with the traumatic diagnosis, he decided to not let it define or limit him. Bob carried on with his student life, displaying remarkable resilience while undergoing painful treatments. His story is a testament to the strength of the human spirit emerging victorious in the face of adversity.

Andrea Wilson Woods is a writer who loves to tell stories, and a patient advocate who founded the nonprofit Blue Faery: The Adrienne Wilson Liver Cancer Association. Andrea is the CEO and co-founder of Cancer University, a for-profit, social-benefit, digital health company. With Cancer U, Andrea synergizes her talents of coaching, writing, teaching, and advocacy.
