Daily Looks: Week Ending 3.21.25

While it is the week that spring is springing, we had some cooler weather. At least cooler for our area, but if I was comparing it to our usual in Colorado, I would call it warm. It’s the true definition of perspective, eh?

I think you would enjoy it if you signed up for the emails below. Besides the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits of what’s going on in my life along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

SATURDAY

I wanted to show both the front and back of today’s look. I knit the wrap a couple of years back, and I almost like it better from the back. I’ll have to remember to turn it around the next time I wear it.
This sweater dress is a perfect casual option that I wore when we road-tripped to Palm Springs. I wore it for the car days to and from, and you can see it styled with a green blazer.
The animal print sneakers are an easy, casual option and I decided to push myself and try the crew socks trend.
Sparkle included with my brooch, earrings, and hair clip (seen in top photo).

SUNDAY

Found these red opaque tights at Old Navy for $3 and knew I could make a fun outfit with them. They match the Ros (formerly Walking Cradle) “Samantha” heels perfectly. And I figured they were a great color for Christmas and Valentine’s when the outfits I wanted to wear needed extra warmth.

Amazon has a pair that is under $10. And Walmart has a pair under $2.

I started off layering this cashmere hoodie over the dress but it was too long and seemed off. So instead, I put it on UNDER the dress.
Yes, it’s not exactly the same red as the tights, but I still like it.

I accessorized it by copying the mint color of the dress’s print with a mint belt and earrings.

HAPPY GREEN DAY

The green plaid top was a recent find at Old Navy for $3 as well as the sheer socks. I know crew socks are trending for the young girls, and I see no reason not to try them out.

Unlike my usual, I kept the outfit dark with a black skirt (seen here before I cut off a couple of inches).

Then I added this Alembika vest and used magnets to hold the front panels back a bit.

I copied the animal print from the vest for my shoes and even added a clip-on earring at the waist of my skirt.

Annabelle is showing off her animal print.

TUESDAY AM

2 different outfits today, because we have massages/facials this morning, and then will come home to take a shower and get ready for dog training class.

I wanted to wear this lime green linen dress that I just picked up for $5 at Old Navy, but it was too cold to wear it by itself.

Therefore, I layered it over a rust-colored sweater dress.

What do you think of the color combo? Interesting and not one that I’ve tried before was my thought.

I wore my floral thrifted booties with my orange sheer socks (found here) and a brooch at the neckline.
The hat is to cover the hair because it gets messy after my facial.

TUESDAY PM

This was the outfit for the dog training class, and then I added a belt and wore red booties for our Medicare seminar dinner out.

I had this idea in my mind for pairing this oversized sweater with the oversized blazer, but I ended up trying on 5 different pairs of jeans before opting for the wide-leg ones.

I used red as my pops of color with my red sneakers, scarf, glasses, brooch, and bracelet.

Notice the cardigan pins at the sleeves. It was a great way to keep the sweater and blazer sleeves together.

FRIDAY

I was off to help out at a fashion show for Just Be Youtiful.

Maybe I should explain what that means. I don’t model for her, but I help in between when the models are changing outfits. I showcase different ways to wear the same thing (you know, one of my superpowers) along with showing how to use many of the Tools of the Trade (as described in that link).

So when I get dressed for these events, I usually try to wear a dress that is easy to layer over.

While this denim dress isn’t from Just Be Youtiful (you saw it layered in Denver many years ago), the green open-weave topper is, and it can be styled in many different ways (as seen in this video).

Then I wore my fancy green heels but added the sheer socks (found here) to add a modern edge to the look.

Thank you
