Cat Schuller taught the first plus-size course in the Continuing Education Studies division at F.I.T. in New York City. One of the original full-sized models, she refused to conform to the unrealistic size requirements of the modeling industry. She spends much of her life involved in movements which foster body acceptance; Runway the Realway, Divabetics, among others. Cat is also the Widow of Mark Gruenwald, the “heart and soul of Marvel Comics” who died unexpectedly in 1996. She works diligently to keep his Legacy and contribution to the comic book industry alive.
