Eleven Bucknell Kappas gathered in Rehoboth, DE on a sunny winter weekend to celebrate a year of turning 50.

I’m the last, just like I was the last to turn 21, but this time I’m cheering to be the rear of Aging.

Almost 50 means:

• we know what we like- beauty products, energetically

• our lives have been up and down-we have been through births, deaths, Love, heartache, loss, trial, error, moves, raising kids, understanding our hormone

• we love each other so much, even if we don’t chat all of the time

• laughing with old friends is medicine

• we’ve loved, hated and now love our husbands again. sorry guys

• we are all navigating complex Family, sibling and in law dynamics that make us scratch our heads

• we are quiet about our big jobs, see my polite ceiling article

• we are devoted to our kids in a way I wonder if it’s healthy, tbh

• we are too far from our own finances, S T I L L
