Lately I’ve been catching myself feeling impatient with myself.
Wanting Clarity. Wanting movement. Wanting to start the Year of the Horse! We are January 10th already! Yet I still felt I was working out what to get rid of in 2026, shed the rest of the Year of the Snake!
And then I read a great post on a Feng Shui certification site.
This moment isn’t about resolutions or racing into the new year — the Lunar New year is not till February 17th.
Energetically, we’re still in a threshold space.
Not quite finished with the old… not yet fully stepping into the new.
For me, this past year has felt like deep internal alchemy — subtle, confronting, transformative. The kind of change you don’t always see straight away, but you feel it working through every layer.
And now comes the quieter part.
Not activation.
Not acceleration.
But integration.
This is the phase of clearing, simplifying, letting things fall away naturally.
Because carrying what no longer fits — old roles, outdated identities, familiar but draining patterns — only weighs us down.
I’ve been asking myself:
What am I still holding onto out of habit or safety?
What version of me has already served her purpose?
There’s no rush to decide everything yet. And that, in itself, is a relief.
This pause isn’t stagnation — it’s preparation.
Space being made. Ground being cleared. Windows opening.
Movement will come soon enough. And when it does, our horse deserves clean footing and steady energy — not exhaustion from pushing too early.
So if you’re feeling “not quite there” yet, you’re not behind.
You’re exactly where you need to be.
Let what’s ready to go… go.
Refine what truly matters.
Trust that momentum arrives when the ground is ready.
And when it does, you’ll meet it grounded, clear, and strong — not hurried.
