My youngest has a few nicknames…
Sloane Bug, Buggie, Parm (short for the brick of parmesan cheese she consumes weekly), chappie (her Family middle name is Chapman).
Her name should be truth slinger.
Sloane, my 10 yo, is intuitive, claims she can tell what’s about to happen, sees energy and also somatically releases often when she’s anxious and can’t hold it in anymore.
And she’s funny af.
Today, getting out of the car on the way to the bus, she whispered, ‘the botox is starting to work, Mom’. * [shakes head]
What Sloane’s too young to realize, my glow up is if from the inside out.
Working on my spirituality has lead to the mostly-wrinkle free version of me.
Confidence is the glow up.
Femininity & brilliance is the wrinkle releaser.
Something happens in your 40s. What used to motivate you suddenly doesn’t.
Midlife is wild because everything buried starts asking to be seen.
The anger, the confusion, the people pleasing fatigue — all of it is energy asking to move.
And when it doesn’t, it builds. It fogs your focus. It blocks your Clarity.
