
Can you believe May has gone and we are now into June. That is almost mid-way through another year. How has your first six months progressed? Are you happy with your Health and wellbeing? Do you feel you are blooming or are you starting to fade and lose your bloom? As we reach the midpoint of the year, it’s the perfect time to pause and check in—with ourselves, our goals, and how we’re feeling. For me, this year began with our usual running goals and intention: to train for and complete a half marathon. Yesterday, I achieved that goal and it was extra special running with my daughter, Rachel and good running friend, Caz. Crossing the finish line, (we all held hands as we crossed), wasn’t just about the distance—it was about honouring our strength, discipline, and the belief that we can continue to set and achieve meaningful goals, no matter our age. It was about motivating each other to keep going and we also had a good friend who was our cheerleader on the sideline cheering us on.
