Hybrid Boomers do not fall prey to unwanted weight gain while settling into hybrid work.
It is very easy to do so!
Snacks and the refrigerator are now easy targets for mindless eating while attending conference calls or fulfilling daily work tasks.Â
Before you know it the chips, cookies, and extra sandwich will show up on your body in the form of weight gain. I have encountered co-workers who are now 10 to 20 pounds heavier since the pandemic. It is widely accepted and explained away as pandemic weight gain, however there is no excuse for it.Â
There are steps that can be taken to avoid picking up the unwanted pounds.
One routine that I established at the beginning of my hybrid work was a daily walk. I have a dog, so it was easy to get started by just walking him. I began to really enjoy the opportunity to get out of the house, so once the dog was exhausted (he will only walk with me for a half mile) I extended my journey and I now walk 2 to 5 miles a day.Â
In my head I am always 5 pounds away from my ideal weight, so I adjusted my eating habit to add more fruits and vegetables to my Diet. Sometimes for me eating and Exercise is not enough to get the stubborn pounds to go away, so when I hit a plateau, I incorporate a detox and weight loss tea or a fat melting tablet for a few days to boost my metabolism.Â
The detox and tea or the fat melting tablet work for me every time!Â
If you have gained weight, all hope is not lost. Some of my friends have reported success with drinking smoothies to lose weight. You can pop the fat melting tablet into your mouth before you go to bed tonight and boost your metabolism by over 728%!
And if you don’t like taking walks, you can work out in your home with an online dance program that is also fun to do. The important thing is to take the steps to get back on track now!
Being a Hybrid Boomer does not mean that we do not care about our appearance. Besides, it is summer time and the beach is calling!
