The Magic Bullet Is In A Haystack
The truth about art, about writing, is complex. People are fond of saying, “There’s no magic bullet.” But they’re either lying to you or they aren’t looking closely enough.
For example, Powerball and Mega Millions are clear magic bullets. Eventually someone wins. But as they say, “You can’t win if you don’t play.
More importantly, millions play, and very, very, very few win. But someone does win, and that person goes from being broke or at best middle class to being incredibly wealthy—top 1% wealthy.
Other magic bullets might include business-building, Real Estate buying, W-2 work and saving, plus getting promotions. Even Wall Street can be a magic bullet.
Everything can be a magic bullet. Some things favor more people, and when it comes to art, your chances of hitting the target are small.
