1. 35. Paranormal Special: Finding your inner power, being true to yourself and connecting with your role in the world with intuitive consultant Corbie Mitleid Diane Gilman 36:56

In the final installment of our paranormal series, Diane Gilman, the queen of jeans, engages in a captivating conversation with Corbie Mitleid, an intuitive consultant, mystic, psychic, channel, medium, and tarot card master. With over 50 years of experience, Corbie shares her journey, her advice for listeners and does a tarot reading for Diane.

Early Years and Diverse Career Paths

Corbie’s fascination with the mystical began at the age of 9 when she delved into Eleanor Estes’ “The Witch Family.” As a teenager, she bought James Bond 007 tarot cards, kickstarting her journey into tarot readings for friends and family. While cultivating her intuitive abilities, Corbie pursued various career paths, including acting, writing, and working as a legal assistant.

9/11 Turning Point

The tragic events of 9/11 marked a turning point for Corbie, leading her to embrace her intuitive work full time. She believed that in a world growing darker, people needed inspiration and connection, solidifying her purpose to help and uplift others.

Empowering Others

Corbie describes herself not as a repairman in her readings but as someone who hands people the toolbox. Her mission is to empower individuals, guiding them to discover their inner power and purpose.

She says that individuals approach her for guidance on family, past lives, connecting with spirits, and navigating their current life paths.

Facing Hopelessness and Despair

Discussing the challenges of the world, Diane shares a sense of hopelessness amid conflicts and climate change. Corbie, however, suggests that embracing hopelessness can be a catalyst for positive change, an opportunity to shift one’s mindset and appreciate life even in adversity.

Diane’s Previous Card Reading

Diane recounts a pivotal moment in the ’90s when she sought guidance through tarot readings, and the Tower card repeatedly appeared. Corbie explains that while it’s known as a disaster card, it symbolizes an opportunity for change. Negative connotations don’t always translate to negative outcomes.

On-Air Reading for Diane

Corbie performs a live reading for Diane. Diane asks if she is on the right path. Corbie advises rephrasing her question about the future. Instead of asking “is she”, Corbie suggests asking “how” she can stay on the right path.

Finding Purpose in a Dark World

As the episode concludes, Corbie reflects on the world’s current state, acknowledging its darkness. However, she asserts that everyone alive has a purpose and the potential to contribute positively. Diane underscores the importance of finding one’s purpose.
