1st Segment

It’s the first show in 2019 and Sam recaps his holiday in Israel, where he visited his Family. He dedicated this episode to his mother who celebrated her 99th birthday during the holidays. Sam speaks about celebrating his mom’s special day and how a move from America to Israel late in her life provided Longevity and gave her a new sense of living. Plus, quotes from the Universe and Abraham and introducing the topic of this episode: Standing up for ourselves.

2nd Segment

To start off this segment, Sam thanks his interns for all the hard work they have given the station during the past year, as they transition into the new year. He then begins speaking on the topic of standing up to others. He mentions that people don’t want to stand up for themselves because of society’s rules, norms, and means. Sam believes it is necessary to say no to certain people and to set boundaries, if it means to take some time for self care.

3rd Segment

Sam goes over the different types of boundaries: physical, emotional, mental, and energetic (or spiritual). He not only explains how they are all unique in their own ways, but he also talks about the ways these boundaries are all intertwined. These boundaries are very useful for those that want to separate themselves from people of influence, especially loved ones.

4th Segment

In the final segment, Sam answers a question from a caller about setting boundaries for family members. He tells the caller that having family boundaries are very important but it takes cooperation from all members. While it is important to have those boundaries, Sam also points out that resistance will happen at first but the individual still needs to work on self care. Plus, when is it okay to break, revisit, and change boundaries?
