Janice’s story is one of dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to Education and community. From a young girl reading by age five to a seasoned reading specialist, Janice has continually sprinkled her love for reading and teaching wherever she went. Through her unique journey, from the mountains of North Carolina to the halls of Western Carolina University, Janice has inspired countless children and adults alike. Her experiences, from being a band member to a church organist and even a radio station co-owner, are as rich and diverse as the many stories she loves to tell.
