was the U.S. military’s subject matter expert on PTSD and Moral Injury for a decade.
Among his ten books, The Practice of Dream Healing and War and the Soul are modern classics, and his books have been translated into several languages. Warrior’s Return is
translated into both Russian and Ukrainian, and used for their contemporary healing alongwith Ed’s zoom support, even as the war proceeds. The documentary “Healing a Soldier’s Heart,” was a PBS special last Veterans Day weekend. In addition to his private
practice Ed has lead more than 40 pilgrimages to Greeceand Viet Nam for holistic and spirituallybased healing, the psycho-spiritual-cultural healing of war Trauma, and restoration ancient healing practices for our times. His newest book is Passage to Poros: Inthe Sanctuary of the Sea God and includes stories and testimonies from warriors who have taken these journeys for healing.
