Welcome to season six of the Discovering Your Calling podcast. Before we jump into this new season, I want to share a quick reflection on my vision for our upcoming episodes. Over the past several seasons, we have talked a lot about finding your calling. But I have noticed recently that discovering your calling is really just the beginning. The deeper questions start to emerge once you understand the work you are meant to do. If you are an ambitious woman experiencing exhaustion even when doing work you care about, I designed this season exactly for you.
What to Expect This Season
- We are going to explore what it really looks like to design your work and life in a way that creates sustainable success.
- We will talk about things like how your natural strengths shape the work you are meant to do.
- I will be bringing in Experts who can share insights and strategies to help you build what is next for your life and business.
- From time to time, I will also be sharing live Coaching conversations so you can hear what real transitions and decisions actually sound like.
Community & Resources
- If you would like to continue these conversations beyond the podcast, I have created a new community on Facebook called the Calling and Clarity Collective.
- This will become a space where thoughtful, ambitious women like you gather for meaningful conversations about strengths, leadership, and sustainable success.
- Inside the group, I will host a couple of live conversations each month, doing a little bit of live coaching, and occasionally offering workshops.

Coming Up NextIn our next episode, we will begin exploring a question that sounds simple, but is actually deeper than most people think: What does it even really mean to live your calling?

Sheri Miter is a serial entrepreneur. Her first business was selling painted rocks to neighbors when she was 7! This entrepreneurial spirit led her to many failures but also some huge successes, such as a Chimney Cleaning business with her husband Tom, a professional firefighter, and eventually a business as a Mary Kay sales director. While in Mary Kay, Sheri led her team to six-figure years multiple times, and YES, she drove the iconic pink Cadillac for part of her career!
Despite her success as a Sales Director in Mary Kay, Sheri found herself at a crossroads after 25 years. She began to question if this was the path she truly wanted for the next decade of her life. Even after achieving her best year, she felt a sense of weariness and asked herself, 'Is it ever going to be enough?' This internal struggle led her to a brave decision- to step away from her role as a Sales Director and embark on a new journey. This journey led her to become a Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach. Today, Sheri has crafted a life she loves, assisting other highly successful women to discover their 'what’s next' career. She is passionate about working with women who have achieved success making the money, but are now eager to make an impact by unleashing their God-given strengths and embracing their true calling!
When Sheri isn’t busy with her clients or recording a new podcast, she cherishes her time with her grandkids and embarks on exciting adventures with her husband. Their escapades often include the beach, biking, or out boats. At the end of a fulfilling day, they savor the beauty of the sunset with a cocktail in hand, a testament to Sheri's belief in enjoying life's journey.
