The Unforgiveable

Let’s talk about forgiveness.

Specifically, let’s chat about the unforgiveable.

Here’s an excerpt from my new book “The Ultimate Path to Forgiveness.”

—-

What about that person, place, or event that was super horrible? The one that doesn’t deserve to be forgiven. What about those memories?

It’s REALLY HARD to forgive the unforgiveable.

Sometimes it isn’t even appropriate. The evil of the situation is too much.

So what do you do?

You work with the energy around the unforgiveable.

Stay with me. I’ll explain in a minute.

When someone or something is so awful and you absolutely positively cannot forgive it, then the only thing you CAN forgive is yourself and the energy around the actual event.

Someday in the future you might be able to return and forgive the person.

Maybe.

Some people can.

It’s all good if you can’t.

Forgiving yourself and the energy around the event will neutralize the painful energy and will help you move forward and heal.

Gratitude will help neutralize it as well.

How?

Well, sometimes the only lesson you can see is what the experience taught you not to do, or who not to be. Perhaps it showed you how much strength and courage you have. Or it showed you who your real friends were.

At the end of the day, that’s still gratitude, right?

Gratitude is your armor against hate and negativity.

The experience provided you with contrast so you would recognize good.

Also, please forgive yourself for all the unhealthy habits and traits you picked up when you were enduring that Trauma. Forgive yourself for becoming the person you needed to be in order to endure and survive.

As you consider the most painful memories on your forgiveness list, forgive yourself for any role you may have played good or bad, and then forgive the energy around the entire situation.

In the future you might be able to return and process the Forgiveness Matrix™ on this person again.

Then again you may not.

It’s all good.

As I said before, some things are unforgiveable.

Forgive what you can and move on with your life.
