Daily Outifts: Week Ending 7.25.25

We had our mini vacation for Rob’s birthday up in Flagstaff this week, so you’ll see some of the same items styled in different ways.

My emails are my way to share fun and positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY

I had this pair of pants hanging on my valet rod because I thought I would wear them with another outfit. Since that didn’t happen, I decided to wear them today.

Paired with an oversized shirt where I used the scarf & pin trick to close it (although I added a brooch at the top for extra modesty).

The scarf and pin trick-
You need a thin, long scarf. Thread it through one of the lower buttonholes, then horizontally to that at the side seam, and place a safety pin. Thread the other half of the scarf through the safety pin (it’s like a belt loop) and pull together. I tied the scarf in a bow, but you can leave it hanging or tie it in a knot.

I wore green sandals and a straw hat.

SUNDAY

Today we traveled up to Flagstaff after church for our mini vaca. I have said it before, and I’ll say it again…road tripping in a skirt is ideal for me.

The skirt is one of the pieces I bought at Just Be Youtiful when we were there with Mireille.

I decided to go all pink and wore this pink gingham crop top (you saw it here layered over a strapless corset).

But, I felt a little bare for church, so I added this strappy bralette under the crop top (funny how those straps make me feel so much more covered) and my denim vest over it.

I wore these pink bow Vivaia flats that my friend, Catherine, sent me. And my huge flower earrings that are very lightweight and under $5.

SUNDAY NIGHT

For Rob’s birthday night celebration, we went out to eat at a sushi restaurant in Flagstaff.

Since it is 20-30 degrees cooler in Flagstaff, I brought my silver jeans.

Then I layered this absolutely gorgeous silk top (from Just Be Youtiful) over my workout sweatshirt (that I wore every day for dog walking).

I added statement earrings and blue mules.

MONDAY

Today, we were heading to the Lowell Observatory for some touring and learning.

I wore the same silver jeans but cuffed up to make them more casual. Then I paired this wonderful purple knit, ruched blouse (from Just Be Youtiful) with them.

Because it was much cooler, I also took (and wore most of the day) this knit floral moto jacket (also from Just Be Youtiful) along with my pink belt bag slung over my shoulder.

The striped sneakers from DSW were the perfect touch..

TUESDAY

On our trip back to Phoenix from Flagstaff, I wore my pink maxi skirt again. This time, I hiked it up over the girls to create a midi skirt.

Then I layered a t-shirt over it and knotted the t-shirt with an elastic.

Same pink flats as Sunday, and this time I added my pink baseball cap.

WEDNESDAY

I don’t have a lot of handknitted items that I can wear in the summers here in AZ, but I finished this mesh top last year.
Today I’m wearing it over a burgundy cami.

I had this thrifted pink print skirt hanging on my valet bar, so I wanted to see how they looked together.

It’s different…maybe not my favorite, but you never know until you try.

I accessorized with turquoise accents and had to carry my beaded fish purse, which I just won in a giveaway.

FRIDAY

My friend, Cathie, talked me into getting this Boden dress while thrifting recently.

At first, I thought it would be overpowering, but I like it with the belt, and it’s very flowy.

I added my red rope sandals (which are on sale at Macy’s but only in navy and a couple of sizes…still available at Evereve) and a straw hat because the dress was calling out for a straw hat, LOL.

BTW, I pinned the “v” closer together with bling…easier to see in the top photo.

Thank you
