Daily Outfits: Week Ending 3.6.26

One minute it’s warm and spring-like, and the next minute it gets chilly (at least chilly for us). But I came through with color (even on the day of neutrals, I added in color with my shoes and accessories.

My emails are my way to share fun and positive content with you from the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY

Yes, you saw this sweater 2 weeks ago on Sunday, but since then, I handsewed the front panels together to make it a crew neck sweater instead of a cardigan. The panels wouldn’t stay together well, and it was bugging me.
And I wanted to wear it again to make sure it was good.

I had this thrifted Anthro skirt hanging on my valet rod, trying to create an outfit earlier, and thought they looked cute together.
BTW, the slit is meant to go in the front, but I bossed it around and turned it to the side.

I wore my glitter socks and boat shoes with it to casualize it.

And then used this flower headband (from Just Be Youtiful) as a pin on the sweater. It’s for babies, so I just gathered the elastic headband under it and pinned it to my sweater.

SUNDAY

Our neighbors were having a garage sale, and they twisted my arm to take this dress.
While it gives me Amish vibes right now, I may cut it in half…we will see.

For today, I added an obi belt and decorated the belt with a necklace and 2 flowers (they are supposed to be necklaces, but I used them around the belt.

I held the “v” together with a brooch and wore my turquoise Empress flats.

Large blue earrings made by a local jewelry designer, along with her bracelet, completed the look.

And Maverick is checking me out…

MONDAY

Off to Yogalates, but since we don’t need to run errands after, I kept it simpler than usual.

The t-shirt seemed boring just hanging down, so I took the extra and twisted it on itself and tucked the end through the loop to create a flower.

You can see the twist action in this TT video.

Since that worked so well, I did the same thing with the panel of my Quince shirtdress. I like how it opens up the dress and creates asymmetry.

The colorful mules I bought on Poshmark…I Love how bright they are, but they are not supportive. So not good for a day of walking, but fine to wear them to and from class since they are easy on/easy off.

TUESDAY

I’m joining in on an IG challenge with 5 green items…thus this bold and “too much” outfit.

The dress was another from the garage sale (where I found the Sunday dress), and I wore a print blouse under it (seen with pearls ages ago) and a dark olive green, solid shirt, along with my newest DIY vest.

The vest was a sweater that I thrifted to practice some sewing techniques. I cut off the sleeves, changed out the buttons, crocheted trim around the edges, and added stuff from my sewing drawer to it.

While the vest doesn’t have that yellow undertone, I rationalized that the orange tied in with the blouse cuffs.

What is hard to see is my 5th green item: the necklace (seen in top photo)…and I added 2 orange earrings to it.

Gold Mary Janes and accessories for the finish.

WEDNESDAY

I was jonesing to wear my wrap jeans again (and they even are available inother colors), so I pulled them out.

I wore this bright tank top (recently worn for half a day on Sunday, so I thought I’d rewear it and then wash it). I added this lime green sweater that I knit years ago. It’s meant to cross over in the front, but I decided to let the panels curl and act like a cardigan.

I added a scarf as a belt, my feather brooch, and then my multicolor booties.

FRIDAY

I had a different outfit picked out for today, but it was much colder than yesterday, so I had to change it up.

I grabbed this lime green sweater (preloved) and picked this plaid shirt (worn back in 2016 with a denim skirt).

Originally, I thought I’d wear brown pants, but when I saw the orange ones, I figured bright is good.

I added tan boots, and then I hiked up my sweater with this brooch (also seen on Saturday from Just Be Youtiful) and wore my heart necklace (still available).
