Daily Looks: Week Ending 6.5.26

Many of my outfits develop after I pull out something, but decide it wasn’t right for the look I wanted. Instead of putting that piece back, I challenge myself to wear it at some other time. And here’s the latest…

My emails are my way of sharing fun, positive content with you from all the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY

I was going to wear these pants last week, but they are low-rise and didn’t work with the top I had chosen. So today I wore them with this peplum top.

You’ve seen this peplum top styled different ways, with the thinking that it hides a tummy nicely.

I’ve also had the linen pants for years, and they are showcased a couple of times in what to wear with lime green.

My sandals are a pair of Naot’s that I won in a giveaway, and I added my fabulous cactus earrings from Just Be Youtiful.

SUNDAY

I had both of these dresses hanging on my valet rod and wondered how they would look layered together.
This is the result, and I Love the whimsical aspect of the contrasting stripes, and it’s a great way to add sleeves to this sleeveless tunic dress.

In the past, I’ve shown how to layer this tunic dress for winter.

Insider tip: Layering 2 dresses is not a lot hotter, because neither is enclosing my legs…both are flowy enough, and it works. How do you know if it will or will not work? Just try it.

I kept the accessories simple since I was wearing a lot of print, and these espadrilles bookended the bright pink of my earrings.

MONDAY

These pants had been an option for another outfit, but didn’t make the cut, so I decided to wear them today.
These are the linen pants from Lintico, so they are very lightweight and perfect for our summers.

Insider detail: I can also offer a 20% discount code, LINTICOJTO, for anything on their site.

I paired the pants with this thrifted strapless top, and then wanted a contrasting accent color.
Thus, the light blue shoes, belt, and glasses toppers.

I was going to wear the silver bracelet on my wrist, but decided it would be even better to decorate my belt (as I’ve discussed recently).

TUESDAY

It’s Yogalates today, so you’re seeing my sports bra and t-shirt with my workout shorts hidden under this circle skirt.
The skirt was thrifted, and I love how colorful and whimsical it is.

I am also wearing the new sandals I found while we were grocery shopping at Aldi’s…they are easy to pull on and off, so perfect for class.

I did accessorize, although I will take off the bracelets and earrings during class.

WEDNESDAY

My mom has a dental appointment today, so I try to dress a bit more professionally for these events.

The jacket is one I just picked up for $1, but it’s a men’s jacket (the buttons are on the other side), so ThredUp won’t take it. I didn’t realize it when I bought it, but it’s a beautifully made jacket from Italy, so I decided to wear it myself (it’s a tad small for Rob).

I won’t need a jacket at home, but in the office, it’s always chilly.

I wore this floral dress under it and decorated the jacket with a multitude of brooches and clip-on earrings.

I wore these black and white kitten heels, so while I have a professional vibe, I’m also print mixing with 3 items.

FRIDAY

We are off to dog training class. They are inside an auditorium (luckily), but that means I’ll also need a jacket.

I’m wearing the long camo shorts that I cut off earlier this spring. I adore them this length, and am so glad I was brave enough to do it.

I pair them with this cropped OFS top that I wore with its matching skirt in Puerto Rico (seen for one of my dinner time looks).

I wore orange sandals and even a brooch at the neckline (although it really blends in, doesn’t it?)
