After being inspired by 2 blogging friends for my first 2 looks of the week, I decided to continue that idea.
When I say inspired, I don’t mean the look has to copy a particular outfit. The fact that the person wore an item that reminded me of the clothing I had was the inspiration.
So, if you don’t already follow the women who inspired me, I hope you will at least check them out.
I think you would enjoy signing up for the emails below. In addition to the free eBook, my email Family gets personal tidbits about what’s going on in my life, along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

SATURDAY
I saw my friend, Mireille, had bought a corset top while thrifting, and she shared it in her IG stories, and I suggested to her to wear another top under it.
The idea spurred me to do the same, so I grabbed this pink gingham top and wore one of my Halftees (code Jtouch20) under it with this pencil skirt and Converse sneakers.
SUNDAY
It was chilly today, so I was still able to wear jeans (cuffed because I Love that detail) and a blazer.
Rarely do I wear two tops of the same color, but my friend, Sally calls these a modern day twinset, so I tried it.
Of course, I had to add bling with a long necklace and a brooch hidden on one of the lower pockets.
And the platform loafers for something different than the sneakers I’ve been wearing so much lately.

MONDAY
So after seeing my friend Kellyann talk about barrel jeans, I thought I would pull mine out, especially since we are having a cool spell.
If you’re anything like me, when you first heard about barrel jeans, you thought they were crazy.
But knowing that it’s good to be open to new styles, I took the plunge with this pair from Old Navy in January (they’re still available).
I LOVED them. You get the looseness of the wide-leg jeans without the overwhelm at the hem.
They aren’t much different than the mom jeans of the 90s in retrospect.
Just a different name and different marketing.
Anyways, I wanted to make my grey pair seem springy, so I wore a lime green sweater with a swim tankini under it. And green mules with my raffia earrings.

TUESDAY
I had to show the front and back, because as I always say, just as many people see you from the rear, so give them something good to look at.
This outfit was inspired by my friend Jill. Of course, I had to make it my own by turning this cardigan backwards. Under it, there’s a sports bra, so it seems modest to me.
I also had fun trying to create a flower with the bendable necklace and wore my comfiest Mary Janes ever.

THURSDAY
I’ve been a huge fan of slip skirts over the past couple of years, so I was all in when Nancy showcased her outfit wearing one.
You’ve seen this slip skirt even styled for wintertime.
Today I wore it with a silky top, brooch at my waist, and my newest Cariuma sneakers that are blue and white print.
The lace under the top is just a bandeau like these.
FRIDAY
And last but not least, I was inspired by Shelbee to pull out one of my kimonos.
While I realize that kimonos aren’t the “trendiest” items lately, I feel like you can still wear them with a couple of tweaks.
For today, I pulled it together with this type of cardigan pin and wore it as a top. I explored this idea last summer with a couple of other options.
In a recent video, I did the same with a bathrobe because most kimonos and robes are made of beautiful material, so why throw them out?
These shorts were perfect for the hot day, and I finally pulled out sandals.

My goal with my daily looks post is to find things that help inspire you with my daily outfits and to bring a smile and kindness to your life. I truly think that clothing is our way to express our personality visually.
