I can’t believe April is ending, and it’s becoming our summer now. Luckily, we had some cooler days, so I took advantage of them. I’m trying to put off wearing sandals daily until it gets really hot.
My emails are my way of sharing fun, positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY
This is another dress I bought with my credit on The Real Real. But it’s also on Poshmark if you’re interested.
I wore it with my heels that I just found for $0.50, and I used my bangle trick to ruche it in somewhat at the waist.
I also added a pink flower pin that my mom made from the leftover material when she made us all these items.
I did wear a cami under the dress because it’s very low, but I’ve also shown a Halftee under it in this video.
SUNDAY
I’ve talked about how to wear this denim dress in winter before, but I never tried adding a skirt under it.
In that previous blog post, I had removed the front pockets, but I didn’t Love how dark it was, so after that, I added this leftover silk material. It’s still not my favorite, but today with the skirt, blouse, and scarf as a belt, it kinda looks intentional.
Then I wore tan heels and my heart earrings.
The scarf as a belt is held in place with a scarf clip (if you haven’t bought one of these, I consider them an essential, as you can use them on long t-shirts and other tops too).

MONDAY
I don’t reach for my jeans much, but since it’s still cooler currently, I thought they would be perfect. These jeans I bought 2 years ago, but Old Navy has some similar ones this year with a cuff.
But let’s talk about this Fabulous beach shirt that Tommy Bahama just sent me. I realize they show it as a beach cover-up, but it’s so lightweight and fabulous as a blouse that I’m sure I’ll wear it all summer.
While it’s more than what I normally spend, I liked that it’s all cotton and oversized.
Today, I wore it over a bikini top and layered my cardigan (buttoned the last button behind me) along with matching sandals.
I added a pin at the tied portion of the blouse and wore big ole straw earrings (still available, still under $5)
TUESDAY
I am off to Yogalates and then the Goodwill bins, so it’s a casual, athleisurewear day today.
I like the newer workout shorts because they have pockets for my phone.
Then I thrifted this t-shirt a couple of years back, and just added this kimono sweater (worn for a graduation party years ago) as a cover-up.
Lime green Converse sneakers and my lime green glasses finish it off.

WEDNESDAY
Rob called this my Egyptian Princess outfit.
The linen dress is a PR gift from Tommy Bahamas. It is a linen/cotton blend, so it does seem a bit softer than my linen dress from Lintico.
I chose to wear this green Halftee under it (I wanted a lace Halftee, but I don’t have one with short sleeves), and then a bunch of sparkle.
Insider discount: Halftees gives me a code, Jtouch20, for you to save 20%.
The sparkle belt is from Just Be Youtiful, and I wore my striped mules from Ros.
I’m wearing a navy headband, and then I added a brooch to it.
Then this collar necklace was worn backwards years ago.
FRIDAY
I wanted to wear the Amazon gingham shirt today, so I paired it with this leopard skirt.
Insider tip: The shirt has a tie in the back, and in my video, I had it tied too tight, so the buttons gaped a bit. I loosened it, and it looks better.
Rob said this is his favorite hat on me from American Hat Makers. I wore it because we might be eating outside for lunch, and I wanted the coverage.
I wore turquoise Mary Janes along with a turquoise belt and necklace.
