I didn’t mean to wear mostly pinks and purples all week, but hey, there are 2 days with other colors.
My emails are my way to share fun and positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY
This was only a half-day outfit because after lunch, I changed into my workout clothes and went dog walking.
But I still Love putting together outfits almost as a dress rehearsal. It might give me ideas for future days and make me realize what works and what doesn’t.
Anyway, this dress, which my mom made for me–worn in 2016 with animal print.
And the fringe overlay–worn over a different purple dress.
This time, I created an opening in the front with the fringe using my white corset belt and pink gemstone buckle that you saw styled with a men’s tie.
And the headband…very fun and different.
SUNDAY
This black lace skirt was the 3rd one I purchased last week…I love the zipper detail and thought it would be fun to layer other skirts under it (not today). And I can easily have the zipper be in the front, on the side, or in the back (just like how I moved around the slit on my sequin skirt)
I also wanted to wear this men’s vest that I DIYed. The original inspiration was to take a men’s blazer to be like this…it’s open on the sides and held together with a “belt”, but I decided to create the same concept with a men’s vest.
I layered it over a sheer top (seen from our cruise from 2018 near the end of the article) and faux fur collar and cuffs (these are still available and really do keep you warm).
Also wore my black, thrifted brogues again…this time with knee socks.

MONDAY
As usual, it’s my yogalates outfit with a little extra in case we run errands after class.
The skirt is one my cousin used to make. I’m not sure I’ve shared this skirt before, but I had others that are similar and wore the brown one with lace-up shoes back in 2016.
The sweatshirt is from Goodwill, purchased a couple of years ago, and then I just threw on my silver ankle booties.
Notice the barrette on the side of the boot…I only had 1, so I’m asymmetrical.
TUESDAY
I seem to have a pink/purple theme going on this week, LOL.
I wanted to wear this vest that I knitted, and thought I could continue the polka dot theme with the shirts underneath.
There are 2 shirts:
-the navy one with abstract polka dots seen in this video
-sheer one was worn a couple of different ways in this article.
I had the bow draped down the back (photo included in my Sat. email).
Then I wore these pink suede pants (styled with black in the past) and two-toned booties (under $35 with code COMFY10).

WEDNESDAY-New Year’s Eve
Well, I HAD to wear some sparkle for New Year’s Eve.
I bought the sequin shorts in Denver years ago, and I love wearing them with tights and leggings.
Today I tried them with a pair of print hosiery.
Then I layered my first EVER hand-knit cardigan (you’ll hear more about it soon) over an orange V-neck sweater. It was last year’s version of this sweater.
The flower choker (still available) is functioning to fill in my cleavage a bit, and the cherry on top is the feather pin in my hair. I may buy another one because I love that it’s a pin AND a clip.
THURSDAY
More pink, but in my defense, Cathie just brought over my birthday gifts, and the sweatshirt and open-weave top were part of it.
Not that they were meant to be paired together, but I thought it was a fun idea.
And then this tree of life necklace is from Carmen, whom we were able to meet in person when her Family was visiting Phoenix.
I wore this pencil skirt from ages ago, and my tan cowboy boots.

FRIDAY
Here is a preview of 1 of the looks in an upcoming blog post.
I’m a firm believer that our dresses can be worn in SO many more ways than we think.
This dress was showcased worn 7 ways due to its incredible sleeves back in 2024.
Today I layered a polka dot sweater over it, along with black boots (all old pieces).
I used the sleeves as a scarf around my neck, and wore these knitted/crocheted wristlets that I just finished (and showcased in my email).
My goal with my daily looks post is to find things that help inspire you with my daily outfits and to bring a smile and kindness to your life. I truly think that clothing is our way to express our personality visually.
