Lori explores Home Care and Home Health with Kevin Jones, Owner of BrightStar Care Flower Mound. Kevin and his wife Terry bought the Flower Mound Franchise five years ago as they were looking to transition careers and do meaningful work for the community.  

Kevin is a certified Senior Advisor with expertise on health care and other needs for seniors and in this week’s episode, he shares the path to owning a senior care franchise, caring for the Elderly during COVID-19 times and how his team is providing concierge quality service in a time of uncertainty.

Kevin explains the differences and similarities of Home Care (non-medical) and Home Health (medical), and provides clear examples that explain how each one is paid for, including private pay, Medicare, Commercial Insurance and in some cases the VA Aid and Attendance Benefit. Kevin shares how BrightStar Care onboards team members and customers and reveals their thorough hiring processes.
