I stand firmly in support of rights for the disabled and Elderly.
Below is the statement by Consumer Voice for Quality Long Term Care regarding the recent DOJ memo which threatens to take away community services for disabled children and adults, forcing many into institutions, rather than staying home with their families and communities and even contributing to their communities. This will also affect people who are disabled due to Mental Health issues and those who are “Aging in place” at home.
