When Authority Magazine’s Yitzi Weiner reached out to include me in their Female Disruptors series, I had to sit with that word for a moment. Disruptor. It’s a word that gets thrown at tech founders and venture capitalists. It doesn’t typically land next to “podcast host” or “former stay-at-home mom.”
And that’s exactly why it fits.
What Mom To MORE® disrupts isn’t an industry – it’s a story. The story that says a woman’s most valuable years are the ones she spent raising children, and everything after is a quieter chapter. I reject that completely. In this feature, I talk about what drove me to build this show, what I’ve learned about women reinventing themselves in midlife, and the realization that when moms think they are losing themselves in Motherhood, they are actually becoming stronger, wiser, more resilient, and more multifaceted because of it. Â
