In about an hour, at Noon ET/9:00 PT, I’ll be live on SuperCrowdHour to show you something I Love about impact Crowdfunding: you can start with as little as $10. Not someday. Not “when you’re rich.” Today. Impact Members can join the private VIP Q&A at 1 ET/9 PT.

And if you can watch live, great. If you can’t, no Stress—the replay will be available right here in the same player after the broadcast ends.

The big idea: tiny investments are hard… which is why this is special

Most platforms set minimums around $100 because every investor adds real administrative cost—especially with loans that require many monthly payments. That math makes very small investments tough to offer at scale.

But a couple of platforms have made $10 Investing possible anyway—making impact crowdfunding accessible to essentially anyone with a bank account.

Two places you can start with $10

In today’s session, I’ll walk through how $10 investing works on platforms that make it practical:

  • SMBX (Small Business Bond Exchange): debt offerings (term-loan style), with $10 minimums and a strong mix of community businesses.

  • Climatize: climate-focused project Finance loans with $10 minimums, designed specifically for environmental impact opportunities.

How to pick an “impact-first” $10 opportunity

When you’re investing for impact, you can screen for the kind of change you want to support:

  • Diverse founders (SMBX has served many businesses led by diverse founders)

  • Local community benefit (support businesses close to home—or strengthen someone else’s community)

  • Clear mission (and with Climatize, every offering has an environmental impact angle)

Then—because it’s still investing—pair the impact lens with a quick “can they repay?” reality check.

Due diligence doesn’t have to be overwhelming

One of my favorite practical tips: start with the shortest summary documents first. A few pages can be plenty to feel comfortable putting $10 to work, and you can always go deeper (offering docs and SEC filings) when you’re ready.

The step-by-step path to your first $10 investment

In the webinar, I’ll show the basic flow:

  1. Visit the platform and browse current offerings

  2. Choose an offering aligned with your impact goals

  3. Enter $10

  4. Create your account and verify identity (standard “know your customer” steps)

  5. Use a bank transfer if possible to avoid fees

That last point matters. A small fee can crush returns on a tiny investment—especially on shorter-term loans.

What it means to be an impact crowdfunding investor

Even a small investment moves the world—just a bit. But the real magic happens when you build consistency.

I’ll explain a simple approach from the book:

  • Invest the same amount monthly (whether $10, $100, or $1,000)

  • Focus on a timeline that lets repayments begin while you’re still investing

  • Reinvest the payments into new deals

  • Over time, your portfolio can become self-funding—a steady engine for ongoing impact

And yes—this can be part of building real financial Security, too.
